Biblical principles for finding success in life

Applying the Bible is the duty of every Christian. If we don't apply the Bible, it is nothing more than an ordinary book, a collection of impractical old manuscripts. That's why Paul said, "What you have learned, received, heard, and seen in me, do it, and the God of peace will be with you" (Philippians 54:9). As we apply the Bible, God Himself will be with us.

Avoid unnecessary disputes and ignorance

"Don't have anything to do with stupid arguments, because you know they create arguments." (2 Timothy 2:23)

Living in a world full of different opinions. Some people can be harsh on their point of view, and will relentlessly try to get the rest to take their side. But if we let ourselves get caught up in these arguments, we're getting ourselves into their arguments, wasting our time and messing with our minds.

Arguing is very difficult to change a person's problems and thoughts. Because when they have jumped into the argument, they already have their own arguments that no one can change, because they think their reasoning is always right. Only God can change a person's mind. Disputes will make our minds more and more negative, so let's stay away from unnecessary disputes. Keep your mind clear, and listen to God in your heart and mind to make yourself more peaceful. Humility

Jesus set an example of humility in all that He did. We live in a world where modesty seems to make you fall further back, or even get trampled underfoot, instead of ahead. In the Bible, we see humility as a quality very close and dear to the Heart of God.

Avoid all temptations

“There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end, it turns to death” (Proverbs 14:12)

The book of Proverbs repeatedly reminds us to stay away from evil desires because it has disastrous consequences on our lives. “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end, it turns to death” (Proverbs 14:12). Therefore, “keep your way far from him, and come not near the entrance of his house, lest you give your name to others, and give up the years of your life to the tyrants” (Proverbs 5:8-9) ). We will regret not winning the temptation. In life, we will face temptations of material, lust, or status... As young people, we are also under financial pressure, pressure to create a career and choose a life partner. How can I be wise in all my decisions? The wise choice is for us to turn to God to ask Him to reveal His will and to give us the strength to keep ourselves from sinning. The result of overcoming temptation helps our souls not to perish (6:32) and keeps our lives holy to draw closer to God.

Cultivate yourself through diligence, patience, and discipline in life

“A lazy hand makes you poor, But a diligent hand will make you rich” (Proverbs 10:4)

There is a view that God will give us wealth easily without our having to work hard. The book of Proverbs reveals to us the truth that God wants to bless His children, but God does not want His children to be lazy or undisciplined in life. Proverbs 18:9 affirms, “He who drifts away in his work is also the brother of the destroyer.” Proverbs 24:30-34 shows us that the result of the lazy person is poverty, “a little sleep, a little blink of an eye… and poverty will come upon you like a robber”. God wants to test us to make us useful to His kingdom.

Daily life gives us more conveniences and also gives us more opportunities and means to learn. Are we willing to learn new things to improve and develop ourselves? If we're young, we shouldn't say: I can't learn English, I don't know how to use a computer, I can't cook, or I can't teach my children… The above and more We can easily learn from teachers, friends, or self-study through books, study on websites, or youtube.

Not only training our skills, but we also need to train our character. If we are angry people, remember God's Word reminds us: “Stop being friends with angry people; Also do not associate to be good soldiers of Christ. Through our lives, many people come to know You, and God's name is glorified.
